1 year warranty covers porting only.  It is completely the responsibility of the party installing valves and assembling the head to make sure everything works properly, and any failure due to valves, cams, gaskets, or other components failing is not due to porting and is not covered by warranty.  Additionally, horsepower gains depend completely on two factors - what else is done to the engine and how well assembled the head is.  If this head is put on a stock engine with no performance parts the gains will be minimal.  If used with a big bore kit, aftermarket camshafts, and a fuel controller gains will be substantial.
